She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Vivian Smith (Richard), William Minor, Michael Givens (Vickie), Jeffrey Givens, Pamela Givens, Anthony Minor, Teresa "Terri" Spencer (Quintel), Jeronica and Toni Minor; her grandchildren, Marlisa, Robbie, Shamika, Anthony "Peanut", Patrick "Linus", Teresa "Jean" and Destiny; and her siblings, Millard, Roger, Emily, Rosetta, Dallas, Pat and Roberta. She was also cherished by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
