He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Butter and Minnie Butter (Perschey). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth A. Clark of Sheraden; his sisters, Donna Lee Puff and Jeannette Sideritch; his sons, Dan and Matt; his daughters-in-law, Beth and Kristen; his grandchildren, Hannah, Cameron and Emma; and also Liz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
