He was predeceased by: his former wife Susan E. Smith (Patch); his son Harry Snyder; his grandson Thomas Lee Snyder; his siblings, Burton Dean Smith, Dwayne Homer Smith, James Smith, Mildred Hooks, Alice Jean and Peggy Young; and his stepmother Lena Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Orvil Delwin "Butch" (Madeline Smith) of New Mexico and Linda Smith; his children, Donald W. Smith (Carol Sue Cornetti) of Kittanning and Pamela L. Crissman (Michael) of Worthington; his grandchildren, Cheryl Ann Chestnut of Ford City, Holly Dawn McCausland (Nicholas) of Rural Valley and Todd E. Crissman (Tina) of Worthington; and his great grandchildren, Megan Miller (Joseph), Joshua Snyder, Mathew Snyder, Karen A. Gilmore (Joseph), Nicholas J. McCausland II, Alana F. McCausland, Owen M. Crissman, Evalyn K. Crissman and Enzo E. Crissman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Community Church (2167 PA-268, Chicora, PA 16025).
