He was predeceased by: his father Alexander Frederick. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Schaffer (Miller) of Kittanning; and his children, Shannon Bauxof Bethel (Chris), Deidre Cannon (Joshua) of Bethel Park, Douglas Schaffer (Ashley) of Bethel Park and Julia Furgiuele (Tony) of Kittanning. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
