He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Margaret Lenstrohm Steinmetz; his stepdaughter Maria; and his siblings, Charles, John, Donald, Floyd and Belline.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Gares of Covington; his sons, Carl of Gillet, David of Moscow, Paul of Phillipsburg, NJ and Blair of Florida; his stepson John of Milford, NJ; his daughters, Sarah of Allentown, Brenda of Phillipsburg, NJ and Betsy of Bangor; and his brother Curt of Asbury, NJ.. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
