It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elsie Marie Shaffer of Covington, Pennsylvania, born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Shaffer of Covington Twp and Jennifer Hill (Steve) of Covington Twp; and her brothers, Alex Humen (Patricia) of Scranton and Eugene Humen (Cindy) of Elmhurst. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; many good friends; and her fur babies.

In lieu of flowers, Elsie would like for everyone to pay it forward by helping a child in need for Christmas and helping out a local animal shelter.
