It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlotte May Phares (Courtdale, Pennsylvania), born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 19, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert A. Glycenfer and Edna Gould Glycenfer; her husband Jerry Phares; her children, Marjorie Grace Phares and Jerry L. Phares, Jr.; her grandson Zane Jerry Gabriel; and her sisters, Edna Yale and Roberta Telencho (Nancy Padden).
She is survived by: her children, Michele A. Gabriel (Brian) and James W. Phares (Michelle); her grandchildren, Jessica M. Phares, Quin and Avery Gabriel; and her siblings, LaVerne Karavich, Evelyn Stepanski, Wayne, Robert, Ronald and Gary Glycenfer. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Medical Oncology Associates Prescription Assistance Fund, 382 Pierce St., Kingston, PA 18704 or if desired make blood and/or platelet donations with the American Red Cross.
