He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Daniel N. MacKenzie and Patricia Kaziska MacKenzie O'Toole; his girlfriend Elizabeth; his daughter Karen; his stepdaughter Jessica (David); his stepgrandchildren, Caroline and Owen; and his sisters, Coleen McVinney and Pamela Thomas (Kirk). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
