It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley M. Anderson of Coudersport, Pennsylvania, born in Jamestown, New York, who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurston David Oliver and Margaret Melquist (Youngquist); her husband Leon E. Anderson; and her son David L. Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Janet A. Long of Coudersport, Beverly J. Gilpin (Mac) of Bellefonte, Roger A. Anderson (Sharon) of Virginia Beach, VA and Dale R. Anderson (Sharie) of Coudersport; and her grandchildren, Brian, Rachel, Keefe, Jason, Melanie, Mark, Britta, Crystal, Angela, Bethany and Dustin. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be made in Shirley's name to either the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3 Borie St., Coudersport, PA 16915 or to Eulalia Cemetery, P.O. Box 226, Coudersport, PA 16915.
