It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Baker (Coudersport, Pennsylvania), born in Smethport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 6, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Baker and Alice Annette Baker (Dibble); his wife Marie May Galusha; his sons, Robbie Tubbs and Edwin Tubbs; his grandson Phillip Tubbs; and his siblings, Oscar, Ed, Harold, Cleo Baker, Pearl Elias and Helen Manning.
He is survived by: his close friend Dorothy Burdick; his children, Russell Tubs of Roulette and Laura Hemphill of Roulette; his brother Merle Dibble of Bradford; his grandchildren, Kristine Fessenden (A. J.) of Roulette, Critter Hemphill (Anna) of Port Allegany, Melinda Hemphill (Tim Gotschal) of Eldred, Kathey Brown (Daniel) of Galeton and Tammy Tubbs of Selinsgrove; his granddaughter-in-law Lisa Tubbs of Ulysses; and his granddaughter Brittany Freer. He is also survived by several great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Pennsylvania COVID-19 guidelines will be in place including mask and social distancing.
