He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elwood "Cy" Darrin and Beverly "Eloise" Darrin (Lowe); his wife Valerie M. Karhan; his friend Santa; his daughters, Robin Jo Darrin (Ricky) of Ft. Myers, FL and Nicole R. Darrin (Scott) of Emporium; his stepchildren, Shannon, Greg, Jarret, Jason and Jill; his sister-in-law Tessie Darrin of Coudersport; and his nephew Edwin Darrin.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Dick's name be made to St. Eulalia Catholic Church Restoration Project Fund.
