She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Benson and Roma Starr Benson; her husband John Charles Norek; and her siblings, Richard, Walter Benson, Gayle Robbins and Kathryn Benson.

She is survived by: her children, Kris Hawkes (Harold) of Coudersport, Gayle Potocek (Jeff) of Coudersport and Kevin Norek (Kelley) of Portville, NY; her grandchildren, Dr. Lindsay Graham (Jesse) of Jamestown, PA, Dr. Leslie Freeman (Steve) of Birdsboro, PA, Derek Anthony (Julie) of Bellefonte, PA, Jillian Anthony of Erie, PA, Kyle Norek of Portville, NY and Kelsie Norek of Ithaca, NY.; and her great grandchildren, Jessica, John, Gabriel, Serci Graham, Novella, Ellory Freeman, Charles Anthony and Phyllis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
