He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bucheit and Emma Goetz Bucheit; his wife Elizabeth J. "Libby" Tauscher; and his siblings, Andrew Bucheit, Willis Bucheit, Kay Tasillo, Edna Garell and Dorothy Rodell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julia Ann Markowski (Michael) of Mountain Top, PA, Jennifer Sue Saulter (Trevor) of Coudersport, Sonia Lyn Villanti (Jason) of Boca Raton, FL and Carol Lee Bucheit of Coudersport; his grandchildren, Joshua Bucheit (Katelyn), Brian Markowski, Ethan Markowski, Emma Saulter, Madison Villanti and Leo Villanti; and his great grandchild Sawyer Hayes Bucheit. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
