He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurvin P. Jr. Hershey and Helen M. Darone Hershey; his pet Kallie; his brothers, Jeffery and Michael Hershey; his father-in-law Albert Swords, Jr.; and his pets, Bear Puppy and Baby.
He is survived by: his wife Roseann L. "Rose" Kuria; his children, Brandon Hershey (Valerie) of York, Danielle Hershey (Rob Heiss) of York, Aleisha Greeley (David) of Coudersport and Amanda Hershey (Erich Petsch) of Coudersport; his grandchildren, Melissa O'Leary (Joseph Olivero), Brandon Hershey, Jr., Bella Hershey, Eric Heiss, Nicholas Heiss, Elijah Heiss, Jocelyn Heiss, Kevin Greeley, Blake Greeley and Marlhy Greeley; his great grandchildren, Piper Olivero and Joseph Olivero, Jr.; and his brother Steve Hershey of York. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
