He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stanley Berger and Georgiana Daniels Berger; his wife Loretta Johnson of Coudersport; and his son Tom. He is survived by: his children, James J. Berger (Carole) of Falls Creek and Diana Rupp (Scott) of Fort Collins, Colorado; his sister Jane Wells (Geoffery) of Whiritoa Beach; his grandson Chris Berger of DuBois; and his great grandchild Otto. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a network of close friends.
