He was predeceased by: his fathers, Frederick Balling and Bert Balling (Eggert); and his brothers, Jerry and Jeffrey Balling. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Balling of Coudersport; his children, James E. Balling, Jr. (Lerryn) of Niceville, FL, Darby Ann Sheridan of East Aurora, NY and Lisa Marie Brennan of Buffalo, NY; and his brother John Balling (Melinda) of Santa Fe, NM.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
