Dorothy Olmstead Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Olmstead of Coudersport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 1, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil N. Olmstead and Edna M. Olmstead (Brabham); and her siblings, Cecil Kenneth Olmstead and Bernice Jean Olmstead. She is survived by: her husband Ernest G. "Butch" Jackson; her daughters, Michalle Dubots (Ray Tate) of Coudersport, Lynette Davis (Richard) of Coudersport and Jeannie Jackson of Ft. Scott, KS; her grandchildren, Cecil Dubots (Deanna), Sean Davis (Kayla), Timecka Dubots (Dana Stevens) and Ridge Jackson; her great grandchildren, Dane Stevens and Brayden Davis; her sisters, Carolyn Calkins (Denny) of Salcha, AK and Linda Tronetti of Port Allegany; and her close friends, Joann Weitzel, Dolly Shadden and Robin Engl-Taylor. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation and a celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions in Dorothy's name be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 1344 University Ave #270, Rochester, NY 14607 or to the funeral home to help with expenses.
