He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman Mitten and Miriam Mitten (Griswold); his stepson David Penrose; and his brothers, Bobby, Woody and Billy Mitten.
He is survived by : his wife Diana Mitten of Coudersport; his stepdaughters, Carolyn Penrose of Easton, MD and Catherine Panzram of Oxford, PA; his grandchildren, William Carozzo, Rhiannon Carozzo and Madison Panzram; and his pet Buster.
