He was predeceased by: his parents, George Meinert and Elizabeth Meinert (Lever); and his sons, George Aiken, Marvin Aiken and Steven Aiken.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Taylor, Anita Meinert (Stoehr), Gloria Reschke, Brenda Meinert and Frank Ferrone; and his close friend Janice Fenstersheib. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
