It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carelene Heitzenrater of Corsica, Pennsylvania, born in Mayport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd A. Reed and Helen Sauers Reed; her sisters, Mildred Schrecengost and Shirley Bish; and her sons, Terry Lee Heitzenrater, Rodney Allen Heitzenrater and Clair Eugene Heitzenrater.

She is survived by: her spouse Clair Heitzenrater; her children, William Lee Heitzenrater (Mary) of Jacksonville, FL, Deborah Lynn Simpson (John) of Hornell, NY and Sybil Jean Alden (Gary) of Oil City; and her siblings, Ray Reed (Melva) of Ringgold, PA, Russell Reed of Punxsutawney, PA and Fay Dinger of Girard, PA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
