He was predeceased by: his former wife Emma Anderson Kafferlin; his siblings, Betty Damon, Patricia "Pat" Sproveri, John "Jack" Kafferlin, Paul David "Mike" Kafferlin and Robert "Bob" Kafferlin; and his daughter-in-law Marilyn Kafferlin.
He is survived by: his wives, Emma Belle Anderson and Ruth Matteson Marsh; his grandchildren, Andrew Kafferlin (Sarah), Bradley Kafferlin (Nicole), Benjamin Kafferlin of Warren, Mary Kafferlin, Anna Kafferlin of Bradford, PA, Jeremy Kimmy of Jamestown, NY and Kim Kimmy of Spring Creek, PA.; and his stepgrandchildren, Tracy Lockman (Chad) of Jacksonville, FL, Roger Marsh, Jason Marsh (Monica), Josh Marsh (Erin), Rebecca Foster (Jon) of Corry, PA, Shelby Saylor, Abigail Saylor and Sarah Marsh.
