With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger L. Ottaway of Corry, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 15, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ottaway and Ethel Ottaway (Blynt); his siblings, Kenneth, David, Merle, Robert Ottaway and Marion Winderl; and his parents-in-law, Paul and Vera Meerdink.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Meerdink Ottaway; his daughters, Diane Thacker (Don) of Uniontown, OH, Lori Mathis (Kelly) of Chillicothe, OH and Janna Tague (Jeff) of Plainfield, IN.; his grandchildren, Alyssa Hellwig (Jordan), Rachael Wolfenden (David), Cassie Batts (Chris), Sara Hodges (Zach), Ryan Mathis (Olivia), Tara Thacker, Caleb Tague and Josh Thacker; and his great grandchildren, Vera, Corinne Hellwig, Arya, Chloe, Eden Wolfenden and Henley Batts. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
