He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Chaffee (Kaminski) and Nora Chaffee; his wife Reva Grover Chaffee; and his sister Helen Chaffee Biehle. He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Chaffee (Ariz) of Green Valley and Frances Chaffee Lyon of Lewes, Del.; his daughters, Linda Taylor (Tom) of Swayzee, Ind and Carol Fielding (Bruce) of Spartansburg; his grandchildren, Courtney Jorgensen (David), Tom Taylor (Jami), Sean Taylor, Caitlin Koch (Terry), Amanda Fielding and Ailee Blakeslee (Robby); and his great grandchildren, Ariadne, Alea, Sørina, Damien, Elijah and Theia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
