With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Gates of Corry, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Dyne and Joan Lutton Merritt; her brother James Morton; and her brothers-in-law, Gordon Boyle and James R. Gates.
She is survived by: her husband David A. Gates; her children, Stephanie Petty (Curtis) of Corry, Stacey Christensen (Daniel) of Albion and Matthew Gates (Karie) of Corry; her brother Robert Morton (Leah) of Union City; her sisters-in-law, Martha Morton of Corry and Patricia Boyle of Salem; her grandchildren, Zachary, Geoffrey Petty, Marcus Christensen (Rebecca), Trevor Christensen, Hailey Nichols (Brandon), Avery and Javin Gates; and her great grandchildren, Linnea and Noah Nichols.
