She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair Beardsley and Edna Beardsley (Messenger); her former husband Merle LeRoy Lyon Sr.; her husband David Coon; her siblings, Gladys King, Ann Freeman, Delbert and Fred Beardsley; her grandson Michael Scott Smith; and her son-in-law Scott Smith.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Luna Rose Smith; her children, Roxanne Smith of Waterford, PA, Tammy Lindstrom (Roger) of Union City, PA, Barbara Bobelak (Robert) of Port Orange, FL, Bryan Beardsley (Rhonda) of Charlotte, NC and Merle Lyon Jr. (Penny) of Pittsfield, PA; and her siblings, Marge Maleski of French Creek, NY, Sylvia Proctor of Jamestown, NY, Clair Beardsley (Marion) of Warren, PA, Edward Beardsley (Karen) of Lander, PA, Elwood Beardsley of Corry, PA and Ashley Beardsley of Spring Creek, PA.. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
