He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Shannon and Laura Armstrong Shannon; and his brothers, Raleigh and Paul Shannon. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bull Shannon; his son Daniel Shannon (Christine "Chris") of Russell; his siblings, Marge Linderman of Streetsboro, Mary Hagner (Richard) of Arizona and Richard Shannon of Corry; and his sister-in-law Mercena Shannon of Corry.
