He is survived by: his spouse Sally Verolini; his daughter Amy Bernhard of Erie; his brother Theodore Bernhard (Stephanie) of Mount Jewett; his siblings-in-law, Diane Bernhard of Mount Jewett, Mary Lou Bernhard of Westline, Debbie Wilner of Bristow, Jennifer Bernhard of Bluffton, S. C. and Silvis Hervatin of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Nikolus Bernhard Avenali and Kelsa Lynn Bernhard Shall; and his mother-in-law Carolyn "Jeanne" Verolini of Kushequa.
