He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Deforrest and Ruth Matteson Way; his former wife Darlene Way; his daughter Joyce Reese; his grandson Shawn Reese; and his brother David Way.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his son Steve Way; his stepchildren, Marsha Self and Craig Adams; and his siblings, Jean (Cecil Betts) of Quaker City, Sandy (Tom Angle) of Mountain City, TN., Gretchen (Sam Tate) of Cleveland, Morris Way (Janet) of Columbus and Randall Way of North East. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
