He is survived by: his children, John Briggs Jr. of Rock Hill, SC, Barbara Briggs-Webb (Russ) of Ashville, NY, Daniel Briggs of Rock Hill, SC, Susan Heard of Plant City, FL, Pamela Cox (Gordon) of Ashville, NY, Terri Robinson of Jamestown, NY and Amy Ziegler (Jason) of Dunkirk, NY; his siblings, Donald Briggs (Carolyn) of Fredonia, NY, James (Mary), Kareen Simmons (William) of Sebring, FL and Martha Kloeker (Roman) of Erie, PA; and his sister-in-law Arlene Briggs. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty nine great grandchildren.
