He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth William Fay; and his siblings, Susan Dorothy Walden, Jason Andrew Fay and Kenneth "Sonny" Fay. He is survived by: his mother Betty J. Fay; his wife Tasia M. Bates-Fay; his children, Samantha Batts (Chris), Sierra Burek (Mark), Shannon Fay and Joel Fay, Jr. (Gina); and his siblings, Lila Craven (Pete), Cheryl Rose (John), Tracy Sandell (Tom), Timothy Fay, David Fay (Anita) and John Fay (Pilar). He is also survived by several grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
