She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Dingfelder and Ruth Dahl Dingfelder; and her siblings, Marian Humphrey, Norma Vanderhoof, Betty Landers and Howard Dingfelder.
She is survived by: her husband Gary C. Rater; her children, Joanna Butcher (Michael) of Corry, Scott Rater (Paula) of Huntersville, N. C. and Jeff Rater (Sande) of Corry; her siblings, Jean Merritt of Albion and Alan Dingfelder (Marie) of North East; and her grandchildren, Caitlin, Shane, Seth, Josh, Mike, Emily, Chelsea, Emiley and Jacob. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to a charity of one's choice.
