He is survived by: his children, Melody Shropshire (Wayland) of Kershaw, SC, Brendan Gainey (Abbey Paxson) of Erie, PA and Jamie Gainey (Tim Carmichael); his brothers, Richard Outen of Kershaw, SC and Scott Outen of Lancaster, SC; and his grandson Darius Shropshire of Kershaw, SC.
