It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dennis Simmons Sr. of Corry, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Simmons and Mable Miller Simmons; and his siblings, Bertha Sutton, Anna Mae Paszkowski, Dorothy McCleary, Ruthin Crouch, Joanne Eliason, Mary Ann Simmons, Robert, Richard and Donald Eliason.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Sullivan Simmons; his children, Michelle Simmons (Bill Akam) of Spartansburg, James Simmons Jr. (Michelle) of Corry and William Simmons (Marci) of Corry; his siblings, Judy Jones of Erie, Patricia Lindstrom of North East and William Simmons (Karen) of Erie; his grandsons, James Simmons III (Desiree) of Corry and Michael Simmons (Lyndsay) of Corry; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Aspyn, Eli, Brantley, Skylar, Brylee and Carter.
