He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond McCoy and Edith McCoy (McCarthy); his wife June Smith of Bear Lake; his son Jay McCoy; his siblings, Gene McCoy and Ruthann Slayton; and his brothers-in-law, Earle Slayton and Duane McIntyre.
He is survived by: his sister Phyllis McCoy McIntyre of Erie; his children, Jill Burr (Bruce) of Corry, Jack R. McCoy (Micki) of Columbus and Joe McCoy (Darene) of Corry; his grandchildren, Kristen Thomas (Kevin) of Columbus, Jason McCoy (Bernadette) of Carlisle, Jessie Tait (Lee) of Pittsburgh, Heather Lutton (Donnie) of Columbus, Lauren Hall of Hanover, Kelsey Parker (Jeffrey) of Chesapeake, Sasha Bush (Zach) of Columbus, Ashley Ongley (James Thomas) of Corry and Allysa Ongley; and also Les Utegg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many, many dear friends.
