With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ivan S. Vanoven (Corry, Pennsylvania), born in Potter Valley, California, who passed away on February 24, 2019 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvia Vanoven and Vivian L. Thornton Vanoven; his former wife Dorothy M. Vanoven (Skeets); his stepchildren, Jackie Dobson and Jerry Long; and his siblings, Irene Hiatt and Francis "Mickey" Vanoven.
He is survived by: his wife Cecilia M. Fuhrer Solties; his stepchildren, Debi Ahl (Jeff) of Girard, James Sutton of Corry, Robert Sutton (Diane) of Columbus and John R. Long (Sondra) of Sugar Grove; and his sister Patricia Shackford of Sequim. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
