She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Upperman and Ruth Young Upperman; her former husband Michael Kowalski Sr.; her brothers, Robert, Harold and Donald Upperman; her grandson Jordan Michael Kowalski; and her son-in-law Rev. Kim Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Lewis of Beaverton, MI and Michael Kowalski (Cindy) of Corry; and her stepchildren, Dr. Pamela Dunn (Art Dunn) of Mechanicsburg, Renee Gray (John) of Spartansburg, Bonnie Dorman (Dale) of Spartansburg and Rev. Bradley Sickler (Deborah) of Belle Vernon. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
