He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren C. Shaffer, Jr. and Marjorie Crawford Shaffer; and his sister Carol June Shaffer. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Shaffer of Sumter, SC, Ray Shaffer of Titusville and Dotty Shaffer of Niagara Falls, Canada; and his brothers, Gerald R. Shaffer (Carol) of Titusville and Larry Shaffer (Melissa) of Titusville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
