She was predeceased by: her parents, George Preston and Louise Preston; and her brother Noble. She is survived by: her children, Michael Gerard Cruz (Linda Marshall) and Kathleen Mary Cruz (Darrell Hall); her grandchildren, Shannon Marshall Cruz (Brian Manata), Stephen Marshall Cruz (Evelyn T. Cai) and Chase Cruz Carpenter; her great grandchild Ollie Manata; and her brother James. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
