He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysious Lindenberger and Zelma Thorton Lindenberger; his son Gerald "Mark" Lindenberger; his siblings, Sonny, Kenneth Lindenberger, Kay Kenniston and Donna Baker; and his grandson Trenton Sturrock.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Combs Lindenberger; his children, Brenda Yost (Brad) of Union City, Karen DelFraino (Dennis) of Lordstown, OH, Katie Sturrock (Timothy) of Hermitage and Michael Lindenberger (Nancy Fingerhood) of Canfield, OH.; his sister Nancy Miller (Crist); his grandchildren, Zackory VanTassel (Annie), Cortnee Yost, Colton Yost (Rashel), Tristan Sturrock (Rachel), Bradley Sturrock and Jacklyn Fingerhood-Andrews; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Josephine VanTassel and Evelyn Yost. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
