He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sr. Bogniak-Karkoski and Mary Bogniak-Karkoski; and his siblings, Mary Kathleen Miller and Richard Karkoski. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Gerrie" M. Dempsey; his children, Joni Andrus (Jon) and John Karkoski (Kim); his siblings, Margaret Karkoski, Barbara Holton, Robert Karkoski (Martha) and Bill Karkoski; his grandchildren, Jennifer Higley (Robert), Jackie McCombs (Josh), David Beckerink (Kristin), Kyle Andrus (Alexis), Kayla Murphy (Greg), Kristopher Karkoski (Liz) and Michael Karkoski; and his great grandchildren, Anna, Kayleigh, Ella, Clara, Brian, Tenley, Tanner and Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
