He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jewell and Twila Jewell (Bailey); his wife Bonnie Jewell (Stover); his son James Jewell; and his siblings, Charlotte Black, Gladys Oviatt, Audrey Sickler, Marie McKinney, Shirley Bull and David Jewell.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Jewell (Tom Eyler) of Pittsfield, PA; and his grandchildren, Katie Eyler (Shannon Johnson) of Bear Lake, PA, Mikayla Eyler of Pittsfield, PA, Bree and Blake Jewell of Spring Creek, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
