He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. and Eleanor E. Anderson Schmoke Sr.; and his grandparents, Robert, Agnes Grier, Clifton and Sarah Schmoke.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila E. Apthorp Schmoke; his children, Donald E. Schmoke III (Heather) of Corry, Dustin T. Schmoke of Corry, Dakoda Q. Schmoke (Dani) of Corry, Sasha L. Schmoke of Corry, Santana S. Schmoke of Corry and Sarah Bell Schmoke of Corry; and his brother Ron Schmoke Sr. (Patty) of Jamestown, N. Y.. He is also survived by eight grandsons; a granddaughter.
