He is survived by: his wife Leslie Bauer Carter; his daughter Melissa Giles (Steve McElhenie) of Millcreek; his grandchildren, Zach, Brandon Barr and Dawn Perry (Duane); his great grandchildren, Tyler and Blake Perry; his sister Debbie Shaver (Jim) of Elgin; and also Ed Carter (Bonnie) of Erie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
