He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bump and Evelyn Bump (Hendershot); his daughter Ellie Silvis; and his siblings, Wanda Anderson, Becky Ender, Bonnie Carolus, Andrew and Richard Bump.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Bump (Silvis); his children, Bonnie Bump of Corry, PA, Shawn Silvis (Traci) of Corry, PA and J. R. Bump of Corry, PA; and his siblings, Gustie Murphy of Meadville, PA, Karen Cervone (Jerry) of Meadville, PA and Daniel Bump (Arlene) of Meadville, PA. He is also survived by five granddaughters, five grandsons, four great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
