He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lulu, James Upton, Frank and Maxine Willison; his siblings-in-law, Cindy Willison and John Fries; and his uncle Gene Shorts.

He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Willison and Marjory Willison (Upton); his children, Amanda Willison (Qwinn Beard), Jessica Wygant (Tyler) and Ryan Willison; his siblings, Lisa Lubelski (Michael) and Alan Willison; and his grandchildren, Andrea, Alise, Blake, Makenzie, Karver, Grayson and Gannon. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
