He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Ellen Poling Moats; his son Donald Moats; and his brother George Moats. He is survived by: his wife Nina L. Bell Moats; his children, Brenda Reslink (Paul) of Corry, Jim Moats of Meadville and Kevin Moats of Elmira, NY.; and his grandchildren, Kimberly, Joel (Lydia), Justin (Amanda), Brandon (Rachel), Samantha, Tracy, Jeremy (Jessica) and Jamie. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
