He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Burr and Florence Burr (Devonshire-Smith); and his siblings, Babe McCarty, Emily Hartman and Jim Price.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Burr (Elfrey); and his children, Randall Burr (Vivian), Heidi Ford (Robert) and Charles Warren Burr II (Rachel). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
