She was predeceased by: her parent Beverly Neely Stull; and her sister-in-law Tonya Stull. She is survived by: her father James Stull; her husband Mark R. Root; her children, Elizabeth Yaginuma (Hiroshi) of Tokyo, Abigail, Victoria Root of Spartansburg, Christopher Root of Spartansburg and Marcus Root of Winter Park, FL.; and her brothers, Alan Stull of Columbus, OH. and Daniel Stull of Corry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Evangelical United Methodist Church.
