He is survived by: his wife Margaret Arnold Patterson; his children, Denise Albers (Rick), Michelle Kozuchowsky (John) of Spartansburg, Don (Glenda) of Pittsburgh, Ron (Elaine) of Spartansburg, Roger (Laurie) of Spartansburg and Stacy (Kim) of Spartansburg; his foster son Ricky Johnson (Karen) of Spartansburg; and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Carrie, Steven, Heather, Jamie, Andrea, Jennifer, Joshua, Serenity, Shawn, Sarah, Rachel and Gavin. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
