It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Ann Gainey (Corry, Pennsylvania), born in Union City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Frank E. Ploss; her uncle Charles Ploss; her aunt Gladys Garske; her siblings, Nancy Wright and Frankie Ploss; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Fisher, Frank Daniel Loomis and Jason Southworth.
She is survived by: her mother Patricia A. Wynn Ploss of Union City; her husband James "Larry" Gainey; her son Brendan Gainey of Edinboro; her stepchildren, Jamie Gainey (Tim) of Orlando and Melody Shropshire (Wayland) of Kershaw; her siblings, Becky Bunting (Bruce) of Cambridge Springs, Clover Salas, Susan Loomis of Union City, Laura Fisher of Corry, Tracy Morrison of Cambridge Springs, Hillary Southworth of Corry, Timothy Ploss (Amy) of Pa and Robert Ploss (Penny) of Corry; her grandson Darius Shropshire; and her aunt Betty Fay of Corry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunt, uncles.
